We did get some much needed rain this week, but not enough to affect the river. It remains low and clear. Still catching bows and bass. This cold snap will get the big fish moving. And dang, it was in the 30s here this morning. Caught a few on olive, but ended up with y2k catching the most. Was a really nice morning, then the wind picked up and that was not fun.. Looks like special regulations on all the rivers except for Spring River. It rained hard for a bit on Saturday evening into the night. Less than 2 inches here. River was stained a bit this morning making for tougher fishing. A y2k on bottom did the trick. Just a half day today and damg it was cold out this morning. No hopper eats today. River remains very low with more rain needed. Since they haven't stocked since April the public areas can be tough. I'm hoping a cold spell will get the big fish moving. Needs to be cold for about a week. Today
